Robin Walter
With a background in forestry, Robin’s contribution to Arboreal - a collection of new woodland writing, Common Ground, 2016, revealed the difficult decisions he had to make when devising a programme for thinning Kingsettle Wood in Dorset. He mused about how we can sensitively use more home grown wood in preference to concrete, steel and oil. His first book, Living with Trees published by Little Toller in early 2020, explores these issues more fully as well as how we can and must live with more trees in town and country. Robin lives in Shaftesbury.
